i am david jank, born in a small city in the south of austria, called villach, located in the alps.
most of the time i grew up there, then got to a school, where i learnt mechanical engineering with specialization for weapons (quite unusual - i know). when i finished the school, i refused to lift a finger for the industry behind it and made a carrer as a mechanical engineer in various fields. a couple years forward - i am here working on the university of salzburg as a fitness trainer. still haven't finished my bachelors degree in sport & exercise science (as of 2025).my hobbies are diverse, spanning creative media art, technical skills, and physical activities. i focus on audio production (music production, dj-ing), visual arts (cinematography, analog photography, drawing, design, sculpturing, graffiti), and tech (programming, 3d printing), all balanced with a passion for movement, physical-, mental- & spiritual change. at the end of the day, i do too much and get lost in thoughts sometimes, which is a good thing (i guess).my main purpose is to make something meaningful for this world which will outlast my physical presence - even though most of the times i don't succeed with this approach.still - i won't ever give up.
